Zurich - Lucerne - Interlaken - Montreux - Geneva


1st day arrival in Zurich
Pick up at the airport with Russian speaking assistance. City tour Zurich (2 hours) with Russian speaking guide covering the commercial and shopping centre, the Old Town and the lake of Zurich. Transfer to the hotel and check-in.
2nd day Zurich

Buffet breakfast at hotel. Today enjoy a half day excursion with Russian speaking guide to Stein am Rhein and the Rhine Falls, Europe's largest waterfalls, including coffee break in Stein am Rhein and short orientation drive in Schaffhausen.
Additional excursion to Lichtenstein and Appenzel with wine degustation and cheese degustation.

3rd day Zurich - Lucerne
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Reboard your coach and drive with Russian speaking guide via panoramic road to Lucerne. City tour in Lucerne. Transfer to the hotel. Visit mountain Stanserhorn. Since 1893 open wooden carriages slowly make their way in leisurely manner from Stans direction Stanserhorn – terminating at the mid station after which you board the CabriO and a new generation in transport.
4th day Lucerne – Interlaken

Buffet breakfast at hotel. After breakfast start your rail journey covering some of the beautiful scenery of Switzerland. Transfer to station arranged by Russian speaking Tour Escort. Leave Lucerne and leave by train for first part of Golden Pass Route via Brünig – Meiringen to Interlaken. Transfer to Hotel. Balance of the day free in Interlaken
5th day Interlaken

Buffet breakfast at hotel. Full day in Interlaken.
Visit mountain Brienzer Rothorn – steam mountain. Puffing we head on and up in Brienz, while ascending in a second climb from Sörenberg. On the south side with steam since 1892, and aboard large cabins on the mountain railway from the north. But views from both sides are pretty much the same – impressive, panoramic and in points 2350-meters high!
Additional excursion to Jungfraujoch – Europe highest altitude railway station. The highlight of every visit to Switzerland – a trip to the Jungfraujoch Top of Europe. This unique vantage point in the heart of the Alps offers spectacular views as far as the snow capped summits of Germany and France. One can see the Aletsch Glacier at 22 km the lingest in the Alps.

6th day Interlaken – Montreux

Buffet breakfast at hotel. After breakfast continue your rail tour. Today you are going to experience the continuation of the Panoramic Route Golden Pass. Leave Interlaken by train which takes you via Spiez, Zweisimmen, Gstaad to Monteux. Upon arrival transfer to your Hotel.
In the afternoon visit Rochers-de-Naye – high above the lake. Today, panorama carriages of the cog railway departing from the Montreux station arrive at the Dent de Jaman in just an hour, passing some most interesting scenery on the way up to the summit hotel. From a vantage point slightly higher up you also enjoy views over Lake Geneva as far as Jura. And to your left, the Savoy Alps followed by Dents du Midi, Trient region and Vaud Alps. Unexpected are also views from the "Plein-Roc" – the restaurant imbedded in a wall of rock. Botanical gardens, marmot park, climbing garden and Mongolian-style overnight stays in a yurte are further highlights on the mountain high above Montreux.
7th Day Montreux - Geneva
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Leave Montreux for rail trip to Geneva. Upon arrival 3 hours city tour by bus including the main sights, the Old Town, parks, lake shore and monuments, International Organizations (entrance fees to UNO excl.). Check-in at the hotel. Afternoon for own activities and independent sightseeing.
8th Day Departure from Geneva
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Geneva airport or train ticket.
